Affirmations can be helpful, but are often misunderstood. Here’s my take on them. As always, take what you prefer, and leave the rest.

WHEN SHOULD YOU DO AFFIRMATIONS?

Affirmations work best when you already feel at least a little good.

They are not meant to pull you out of stress, lack, or struggle.
They are designed to amplify alignment once you’re there.

When you’re anxious, frustrated, or focused on what’s missing, repeating affirmations can actually reinforce the feeling of lack.

In those moments, the words highlight the gap instead of easing it.

Feeling good is the access code.

Words follow state, not the other way around.

When you feel steady, appreciative, or open, affirmations become powerful momentum builders. One good-feeling thought naturally leads to another.

When you don’t feel aligned, skip affirmations and go general.
Focus on soothing, relief, and comfort — not fixing anything.

Ease first. Alignment follows.

A CLEAN AFFIRMATIONS FRAMEWORK

Step 1: Check Your State

Ask yourself:
“Does my body agree with this statement?”

  • If yes (even a little) → affirmations will work

  • If no → go general first

Step 2: Choose the Right Tool

If you’re feeling good or steady:
Use specific affirmations (confidence, money, health, love)

If you’re feeling off, overwhelmed, or discouraged:
Use general relief statements

Step 3: Keep It Short

  • Choose 3–5 statements

  • Repeat for 60–90 seconds

  • Stop when you feel relief or momentum

More words do not equal more power.
Resonance does.

GO GENERAL AFFIRMATIONS

Use anytime. Especially when overwhelmed or spiraling.

  • I am a brand new person, in a brand new moment, with a brand new vibration.

  • This moment is as it should be.

  • Everything important will take care of itself.

  • I know the path will light up for me.

  • Whatever I need appears when I need it - not before and not after.

  • Everything is unfolding as it should.

CONFIDENCE AFFIRMATIONS

  • I always bring out the best in people.

  • I have chosen who I prefer to be and I stay in character.

  • I choose the energy of this moment.

  • Everything is always working out for me.

  • I act from inspiration, not motivation.

  • I am right where I am supposed to be.

  • Everything is easy for me.

HAPPINESS / ALIGNMENT AFFIRMATIONS

  • I release the past and the future and abide in the ever-present now.

  • My happiness comes from within - it is a choice - and I choose to be happy now.

  • I define who I am in the now I prefer.

  • All is Wells.

  • I am right where I need to be.

  • I can only be happy now, and there will never be a time when it is not now.

  • I celebrate things happening easily.

HEALTH & WELLBEING AFFIRMATIONS

  • My body’s natural state is wellness.

  • I listen to my body’s innate wisdom.

  • I am a powerhouse of love, light, and energy.

  • I hit the lottery getting a body in 3D Earth school.

  • I trust my body and listen to it.

  • I choose balance.

LOVE & RELATIONSHIPS AFFIRMATIONS

  • Love and connection are my natural states.

  • I radiate love and positivity.

  • I am a magnet for love, light, and joy.

  • I choose to attract only loving, inspiring, and supportive relationships.

  • My heart is open and my mind is clear.

  • Love flows to me and through me.

MONEY & ABUNDANCE AFFIRMATIONS

  • Abundance comes in many forms.

  • Abundance is my birthright.

  • All forms of abundance flow to me with ease.

  • I am open to receiving abundance, whatever form it may take.

  • I appreciate the abundance which surrounds me.

  • I am generous.
