I wrote this on the summer solstice (6.21.26), also known as on the longest day of light:

The solstice is the moment the sun appears to pause. It climbs all year and then, today (6.21.26 not the day this is posting - 9.21.26), on the summer solstice, it holds still at the top before turning back.

Summer solstice means "sun stands still." That pause is the teaching. Maximum light asks for maximum stillness. You don't have to keep climbing to be at your peak - sometimes the most powerful thing is to stop and simply be in the fullness (light) you've already created.

You know this already. This is your CPR framework breathing in real time. The solstice is the Multiverse Choosing fullness, Preferring radiance, and Resonating at its brightest - and then trusting the turn.

Because here's the really cool part: from the peak on the summer solstice, the light begins to recede. And that's not loss, it’s rhythm. The light you soak up on the summer solstice is being planted for the dark months.

So the idea is to store sunlight in your cells on the summer solstice, the way the earth does, so you have something to draw upon later.

Using the summer solstice as a metaphor and a sparkling opportunity for expansion: what in your life is at its solstice right now? What has reached its peak and is ready to be celebrated before it gracefully shifts? Maybe it's a project, a season of your work, a relationship, a version of you.

The solstice says: don't rush past your own zenith. Stand in it. Light a candle even in daylight, just because. Be a little ridiculous about how bright and shiny you are, and in doing so, shine that light onto those who choose to benefit from it.

And the cosmic silliness of it all - the brightest day already carries the seed of the return to dark, just as the darkest day in December carries the seed of returning light. You are always whole. You are always turning. Nothing is ever only one thing.

What's peaking in your world that invites celebration today?
