I love twinkle lights for the holidays.  Let’s face it, I love twinkle lights all year long.βœ¨πŸŒŸπŸ’«πŸ’›   I also love the fake candles you put in your windows that use AA batteries (not to mention real candles, as evidenced by this photo , but this blog isn’t about those).  So I put the fake candles that use/eat batteries throughout the happy white pineapple πŸ˜Šβœ¨πŸŒŸπŸ’«πŸ and they make me so happy.

Except.

They don’t turn off on a timer so man they blow through batteries quickly.  So I decided I was going to turn them off before I go to bed.

Then in the morning when I woke up at 4 to practice Prana Power Yoga βœ¨πŸ™πŸ»βœ¨ I was like, β€œOh, I will wait to turn them on tonite, since I don’t wanna have to turn em off again at 7am.”  Oy!  It felt too complicated and was losing its lightness (pun intended).

So I decided to just use the batteries.  Keep β€˜em glowing and enjoy.  And when the batteries run out, order more on Amazon.  The end.

A metaphor for life.  Just use the batteries.  Just enjoy whatever it is. Don’t put off joy, ever. βœ¨πŸŒŸπŸ’«πŸ’›
